Description
Groth Models 14E and 14F Pilot-Operated Relief Valves are used to replace weight-loaded or spring-loaded valves in many applications, with the goal of increasing efficiency and reducing evaporation losses. These valves offer several advantages over traditional valves. For example, process pressures can be closer to the set pressure than would be considered prudent and safe with a traditional valve. In addition, greater conservation is achieved due to minimal product loss, which in turn generates greater profits.
Easy, precise adjustments
Only the pilot needs to be adjusted
Lower profile and weight compared to spring-operated models for high settings
The remote pilot sensing option allows the pilot to sense the actual system pressure
Remote or manual blowdown option available
The main valve remains tightly closed until set pressure is reached
Flow capacity available at 10% overpressure
Modulating action conserves product (available on most settings, consult factory)
The top entry allows valve maintenance without removing it from the mounting
