1. Identity and address of the data controller
P&V Control Devices S. de R.L. de C.V. (hereinafter, P&V Control Devices), with its address at República de El Salvador 114-2, Col. Centro, Cuauhtémoc, 06000 Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico, is the controller of the personal data you provide through the website https://pvcontrol.com.mx, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email.
For any matter related to your personal data, you can contact our personal data area at administracion@pvcontrol.com.mx or by phone at +52 55 2458 7374, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
2. Personal data we process
We only collect the data you provide to us directly when you fill out the contact or quote forms on the website, write to us by WhatsApp or email, or call us:
- Identification and contact data: name, email address and phone number.
- Employment data: company, job title and business contact details, when you share them.
- The information you include in your message or request, for example the technical details of the equipment or process you want quoted.
- Tax data needed to issue tax invoices (CFDI), only if you make a purchase.
- Technical data from form submissions: IP address and the date and time of submission, which we use to protect the website against automated submissions (spam).
We do not request or process sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in your messages. We also do not collect financial or patrimonial data through the website: the website does not process online payments.
3. Purposes of processing
Necessary purposes, which give rise to our relationship with you and do not require your consent:
- Answering your information requests and replying to your messages.
- Preparing, sending and following up on quotes for products and services.
- Managing orders, deliveries, invoicing and collections when you make a purchase.
- Providing technical advice and after-sales support for the equipment supplied.
- Protecting the website and its forms against automated or fraudulent use.
- Complying with the legal and tax obligations that apply to us.
Voluntary purposes, which require your consent:
- Sending you information about products, technical news and industrial safety content.
- Inviting you to take quality and satisfaction surveys.
If you do not want us to process your data for the voluntary purposes, write to us at any time at administracion@pvcontrol.com.mx with the subject “Voluntary purposes”. Your refusal will not affect how we handle your requests, quotes or purchases.
4. Data transfers
P&V Control Devices does not sell or assign your personal data. We only transfer it without your consent in the cases provided for in Article 36 of the Law, for example when required by law or by a competent authority, or when it is necessary to perform a contract entered into in your interest.
The providers of our web hosting, email and messaging services process data on our behalf, as processors, and may not use it for their own purposes.
5. Options to limit use or disclosure
You can ask us to stop sending you informational communications or to limit the use of your data by writing to administracion@pvcontrol.com.mx. We will add you to our internal exclusion list.
You can also register with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP) of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
6. ARCO rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, cancel it and object to its processing (ARCO rights). To exercise them, send your request to administracion@pvcontrol.com.mx or deliver it to our address, with the following information:
- Your name and an address or email to receive the response.
- Documents proving your identity or, where applicable, the identity and authority of your legal representative.
- A clear and precise description of the data and of the right you wish to exercise.
- Any other information that helps locate your data.
- If you request a rectification, the changes to be made and the supporting documentation.
We will send you our response within a maximum of 20 days from the date we receive your request. If the request is granted, we will carry it out within the following 15 days. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when the circumstances justify it. We will reply through the same channel through which we received the request.
Exercising ARCO rights is free of charge. Only reproduction, copying or shipping costs may be charged, where applicable. If you believe your right was not respected, you may contact the Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Government (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno), the authority responsible for enforcing the Law.
7. Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw at any time the consent you have given us for the processing of your data, without retroactive effect, by sending your request to administracion@pvcontrol.com.mx with the same requirements and time frames as ARCO rights. In some cases we may not be able to act on the withdrawal immediately, for example when we need to keep the data to comply with a legal obligation or an order in progress.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses technical cookies that are essential for it to work: a session cookie, a security cookie that protects forms against fraudulent submissions and a cookie that remembers that you accepted the cookie notice. If you add products to your quote request, its contents are saved in your browser’s local storage.
These technologies are not used for advertising or profiling. The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you do, some forms may not work properly.
To display its typography, the website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
9. Data retention
We keep your data only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any business relationship that may result from it, and for the periods required by applicable law. After that, we block it and delete it securely.
10. Changes to this privacy notice
This notice may change due to legal changes, our own needs or changes in the services we offer. We will publish any change on this page, https://pvcontrol.com.mx/en/privacy-notice.html, stating the date of the last update. When a change is relevant to the processing of your data, we will also notify you at the email address you have provided.
