Weight-Loaded, Hinged Emergency Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valve MODEL 2450A

The Groth Model 2450A emergency pressure and vacuum relief valve is designed to provide additional emergency relief capacity to that offered by the tank's normal operating pressure/vacuum relief valve. This valve protects the tank against rupture or excessive internal pressure caused by fire exposure, among other factors. The valve is designed to be self-reseating. As excessive pressure builds, the valve relieves the pressure and then reseats once the overpressure has dissipated. The Model 2450A is constructed entirely of corrosion-resistant materials. Groth's special fluoropolymer "air-cushioned" pallet and its peripheral guide ensure proper alignment and sealing integrity.
