Description
The Groth 1600 Series valves provide safe, reliable, and accurate protection against low pressure and/or vacuum. They are designed to meet the sealing requirements of API 2000 for pilot-operated relief valves. This design prevents fugitive emissions and conserves the stored product. Its rated flow at 10% overpressure allows operation closer to the tank's MAWP (Maximum Allowable Working Pressure), increasing the process operating range. This reduces the need for large overpressure and saves product, resulting in higher profits.
The flexibility to use either a film seat or an O-ring seat, as well as snap-acting or modulating action, allows the product to be customized to the specific requirements of the application. The Model 1662A incorporates a vacuum breaker.
