Description
The Model 76T-UF is designed to inhibit flame propagation in gas piping systems and protect low-pressure tanks containing flammable liquids. Flame arresters protect low-flash-point liquids from external ignition sources, providing greater fire protection and safety.
The flame arrester element geometry maximizes flame quenching capability while minimizing pressure drop.
Removable element housing for easy maintenance.
Crimped-ribbon, spirally wound flame arrester element.
Flame arrester elements are made of high-quality standard 316SS material.
Connection sizes: 2”, 3”, and 4” NPT.
Standard housing material: Carbon steel, 316SS.
Standard base material: Carbon steel.
Standard flame arrester element material: Stainless steel.
Operating temperature range: -4 to 140 °F (-20 to 60 °C).
Gas group: NEC D; IEC IIA (MESG > 0.90 mm).
Maximum operating pressure: (see charts and the installation and operation manual - IOM).
Burn time: tBT of 2.5 minutes or better at atmospheric pressure (see charts and the installation and operation manual - IOM).
Bidirectional with respect to flow and ignition source.
External paint or coating available.
Drains and instrumentation ports available.
Factory-installed thermocouples available for flame detection.
