Description
The Groth Model 76C-UF is designed to inhibit flame propagation in gas piping systems and to protect low-pressure tanks containing flammable liquids. Flame arresters protect low-flash-point liquids from external ignition sources, providing greater fire protection and safety.
The flame arrester element geometry maximizes flame quenching capability while minimizing pressure drop.
Removable element housing for easy maintenance.
Crimped-ribbon, spirally wound flame arrester element.
Flame arrester elements are made of high-quality standard 316SS material to reduce corrosion.
Bidirectional with respect to flow and ignition source
Connection sizes: 2” to 12” with ASME 150# flanged connections.
Standard housing material: Carbon steel, stainless steel.
Standard base material: Aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel.
Standard flame arrester element material: 316 stainless steel.
Operating temperature range: -4 to 140 ºF (-20 to 60 ºC).
Gas group: NEC D; IEC IIA (MESG > 0.90 mm).
