Description
A line of large panels in various configurations that provide instant overpressure protection for equipment, rooms, buildings, or other enclosures.
These vent panels are designed to open fully and immediately, thereby minimizing structural or mechanical damage caused by the expanding gases from the combustion of dust, gases, or mists. We supply panels designed for almost any type of pressurized dry bulk handling and storage equipment.
Our explosion vent panels provide instant overpressure protection for almost any type of pressurized dry bulk handling and storage equipment.
Vent panels are designed to open fully and immediately, thereby minimizing structural or mechanical damage caused by the expanding gases from the combustion of dust, gases, or mists inside equipment, rooms, buildings, or other enclosures.
Our vent panels are offered in rectangular, square, or circular configurations and in various constructions to meet the operating parameters of your application.
The VP Series
The VP series vent panel is a flat, slotted, fluoropolymer-coated aluminum panel. This panel is best suited for positive-pressure operating conditions or vacuum pulsations. A maximum operating-to-burst pressure ratio of 50%, either positive or negative, is recommended.
The CP Series
The CP series vent panel is a flat, composite-style panel built from 316 stainless steel and fluoropolymer. This panel is ideal for cyclic operating conditions, alternating between positive and negative pressures. A maximum operating-to-burst pressure ratio of 50% is recommended.
The SFC and CFC Series
The SFC solid-metal and CFC composite (metal/fluoropolymer) vent panels are circular, pre-bulged designs. These panels are suited to higher operating conditions, up to 70% of the burst rating at positive pressure, and negative pressure of up to 14.7 psig (1.02 barg) at full vacuum.
