A versatile flat-seat composite rupture disc that can function as an environmental seal, corrosion barrier or isolate the outlet side of low-pressure storage vessels.
The ENVIRO-SEAL consists of a metal top section and a non-metallic seal. Depending on the design you need, the seal can be on the process side, on both sides (process and vent), or between two metal top sections. The ENVIRO-SEAL is installed between standard mating flanges with ASME, DIN or JIS bore.

The ENVIRO-SEAL is a flat-seat composite rupture disc that is installed between standard mating flanges with ASME, DIN or JIS bore. Use it to isolate the outlet side of low-pressure atmospheric storage vessels, pressure relief valves and other equipment in corrosive environments.

The ENVIRO-SEAL consists of a metal top section and a non-metallic seal. Depending on the design you need, the seal can be on the process side, on both sides (process and vent), or between two metal top sections.
The ENVIRO-SEAL top section is designed with our seven-hole pattern to prevent fragmentation. As standard, the ENVIRO-SEAL is manufactured in 316 stainless steel, with fluoropolymer seals and a non-asbestos gasket on both sides of the rupture disc. Standard sizes range from 1" (25 mm) to 36" (900 mm).
ENVIRO-SEAL rupture discs are available in three designs:
Type I: Bursts in one direction only
Types II and III: Burst in both directions, positive or vacuum, at the same burst pressure
Nominal size range: 1″ – 36″ (25 mm – 900 mm)
Burst pressure range: 1 psig – 59 psig (0.069 barg – 4.07 barg)
Maximum recommended operating ratio: 50% of the rupture disc's nominal (stamped) burst pressure
