Weight-Loaded Emergency Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valve MODEL 2050A

The Groth Model 2050A emergency pressure and vacuum relief valve is designed to provide additional emergency relief capacity to that offered by the tank's normal operating pressure or vacuum relief valves. The Model 2050A protects the tank against rupture, explosion or implosion that could result from excessive internal pressure or vacuum conditions caused by fire or rapid emptying of the tank. As excessive pressure builds, the Model 2050A relieves the pressure and then reseats once the overpressure has dissipated.
